My First Test on Monkey
Monkey is my bay Caspian pony. His passport name is Costessa Feysul but we call him Monkey. His real owner and breeder is Vicki Shortis but he lives with us.
On 25 April 2021, I went to a test at Kneesall dressage to ride Monkey. It was my first time riding a test on Monkey and off leadrein. I was very excited and nervous! I did an intro walk and trot test and got 61.1%. Obviously, it wasn't perfect. The only mistake I made was I did an extra loop on my 3 loop serpentine and mummy had to say "At C, turn around" and O did not know how I did and extra loop but me and mummy had a laugh after the test. I was so happy with my effort and I got better than I thought! I actually got 8th place and I am very proud! I will love Monkey for ever.

Caspians at Ashby 14 July 2019
Classes for Caspians were once again held within Ashby Show. Despite fears that strict flu vaccine requirements might restrict entries, we were able to hold adult male, ridden and partbred classes. Sadly we had no female or youngstock entries. Judge Joanne Critchlow, new to the breed, had a large class of stallions and geldings, and offered much helpful and enthusiastic advice to our young riders and handlers.Overall Champion was Janet Dedicoat's elegant stallion Henden Shakir. After the classes our Chairman Jane Holderness-Roddam organised some gymkhana games to add some excitement for the children!

Caspians shine at Buckham Fair 2016
Big crowds watched Caspian displays at the Fair, organised by the Caspian Horse Society, by kind invitation of Martin Clunes. Such a contrast to the many Clydesdales in other displays and classes. Click here to read the report and see the Gallery
