Second day of the Conference - Tuesday, 8th September, 2015
Tuesday, second day of the Conference, began at the Kadus Grand Hotel. There were talks by veterinarians and experts in the scientific side of breeding with a small population. The main part of the morning, however, was taken up with practical matters. Speakers from CHS and ICS took us through the procedures of registering pure-bred Caspians and maintaining the stud book, the roles of ICS affiliated national Caspian societies and how to use the International Caspian Stud Book to plan matings and reduce inbreeding.
