First Day of the Conference - Monday, 7th September 2015
The Opening Ceremony was to be held at a Conference Hall owned by the prestigious Bank Sadarat, in Central Rasht. We were ushered through its doors and into the enormous hall, where Iranian officials and Federation members were already seated in the front two rows of seats.
We were told that around 400 people attended the Opening Ceremony. No wonder those of us who were to speak or make a presentation were slightly apprehensive!
