The list below features some of the Caspians for sale or loan in the UK. This list is currently being updated, so should not be considered comprehensive.

We would welcome additions to this list of any Caspians or Part-breds in the UK or Europe belonging to CHS members. Please email the Registrar to have your horse included.

The details on the list are intended as a guide only, purchasers should satisfy themselves as to the validity and specification of any information on the list. The Caspian Horse Society reserves the right to reject any animal from this list without reason and is unable to accept any responsibility for misrepresentation. The Society strongly recommends that buyers should seek independent veterinary inspection, particularly if buying unseen.

It is illegal to sell a horse without a passport. Buyers are advised to check that the passport and registration certificate are supplied with the horse, and that details are correct. It may be difficult to rectify mistakes in paperwork in the future. It is a legal requirement for new owners to return the passport with their details to the Organisation that issued the passport within 30 days of acquiring the horse. Caspians For Sale/Loan UK

'Alice' is a sweet natured, attractive Bay Caspian mare with expressive paces. She has lived out since birth, loads and travels well and is good to handle, for farrier, worming etc.

She would be an asset to any breeding programme with her good looks. conformation and excellent paces. She could equally be a great ambassador for the breed in a riding or driving home and would suit a bigger pool of riders due to her slightly larger than average height.

'Ruby' is a calm and sweet natured mare. She is good to handle, loads and travels well and is up to date with farrier and worming. She is one of very few Liver Chestnut Caspians and goes a particularly striking colour in her summer coat.

Ruby sustained a slight injury to a hind leg in 2020 and therefore can show slight mechanical lameness after strenuous excercise. More information on this can be provided. Due to this, she would only be suited to light work, or use as a broodmare. She has worn tack, been lunged, long-reined and leant over, but has spent most of her life used as a field companion.

Ruby has bred one foal, conceiving, foaling and raising the foal very easily. Her foal Holloway Manoush is now gelded and in a family home and being ridden by a young child, who backed him themselves.
